Michael Owens President and Owner

Michael is the president and owner of OSG Global, an executive search and contract staffing solutions firm in Oak Brook, Illinois. OSG Global was founded in 1975. Michael is responsible for the strategic leadership necessary to achieve the firm’s performance goals and preserve the core values established by the firm’s founder over 37 years ago.

Prior to purchasing OSG Global, Michael cofounded N-1 Technologies, an IT leasing and hardware services solution provider, in 2002. N-1 Technologies is an organization focused on is delivering solutions that reduce the cost and risk associated with information technology needs. These solutions encompass both the technical and financial aspects of customers’ IT infrastructure to ensure the highest return on their IT asset investments.

Prior to Michael’s tenure at N-1 Technologies, he worked in senior management positions at Comdisco and Avnet, both publically traded companies on the NYSE. Michael started his career at IBM Corporation as a salesman, then in sales management. He holds a bachelor of science in finance from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana. He also obtained a Master’s degree in education from Kaplan University.

Michael resides in Chicago’s western suburbs with his beautiful wife, Maggie, and their four children (Kailey, Michael, Molly, and Katherine). Michael has had the privilege of sitting on various boards, but his favorite board position is on the Cara Program, a non-profit organization that his father founded in 1994. The Cara Program prepares and inspires motivated individuals to break the cycle of homelessness, transform their lives, strengthen our communities, and forge paths to real and lasting success.

Holly Wilson Marketing Director

Holly joined OSG Global in 2012 as marketing director. She brings 20 years of marketing experience to OSG. Prior to serving as marketing director, Holly worked at an international candy company. She served as a marketing manager there for six years before starting her family. She then owned her own stationery business while raising her children. Holly provides strategic direction and implementation on OSG’s marketing initiatives. She oversees the development of advertising, communications, public relations and other marketing and branding programs for OSG Global.

Holly earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communications and public relations from Southern Illinois University.

August C. Ghilarducci Director of Training & Development Services

After graduating from St. Joseph’s College in Indiana, Augie founded and operated a Financial Planning and Business Consulting Firm for 17 years.  In the late 1990’s he made a series of bad decisions that were contrary to his values and upbringing.  He served 12 years in a Federal Prison convicted of white collar crimes after getting involved in investment transactions that were unethical.

He used this time to reflect, read, write, study and speak about ethics, his failures, and the lessons he learned.  His unique perspective is extremely valuable to the training and development programs he offers to his clients.

He is currently a MBA candidate, completing his course work with a concentration on Leadership Skills and is attending Loyola University – Chicago Quinlan School of Business Ethics Certificate program.  Augie brings an undeniable passion about ethics and goal setting to management teams, sales organizations and employee groups.  In addition, he has spoken on numerous occasions at universities and within business communities.  He was also a featured speaker at the 2016 Toastmaster’s Regional Convention in Minnesota and is a recipient of Toastmaster’s Competent Communicator and Competent Leader Awards.  He is know for his candor and openness in discussing his experience.
